Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). If you join an organization, we store your role and organization membership.

Social Media Account Data

When you connect social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn), we collect and store:

  • Platform account identifiers and display names
  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to act on your behalf
  • Profile information such as follower counts

Content Data

We store the content you create through SocialHub, including post text, media attachments, scheduling information, and publication status.

Analytics Data

We retrieve and store performance metrics from connected platforms, including impressions, engagements, clicks, and follower growth data.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Publishing and scheduling content to your connected social media accounts
  • Displaying analytics and performance insights
  • Managing your social media inbox and messages
  • Providing AI-powered content suggestions
  • Improving and maintaining the service
  • Communicating with you about your account and service updates

3. Third-Party Services

TikTok

We access TikTok's API to publish videos, retrieve analytics, and manage your TikTok account on your behalf. Data retrieved from TikTok is used solely to provide SocialHub's features and is not sold to third parties. We access only the data and permissions you explicitly authorize. You may revoke TikTok access at any time through your SocialHub account settings or through TikTok's authorization management.

Other Platforms

We integrate with Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, and LinkedIn APIs under similar terms. Each platform's own privacy policy governs the data on their service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a social media account, we delete the associated tokens within 30 days. When you delete your SocialHub account, we delete all your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only:

  • With connected social media platforms as necessary to provide the service
  • With service providers who assist in operating SocialHub (hosting, analytics)
  • When required by law or legal process
  • With your consent

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and export your data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Revoke access to connected social media accounts
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; authentication cookies expire after 30 days.

8. Security

We protect your data using encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We conduct regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
